MOAEYC is an affilaite of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and oversees the chapters formed across the state. Volunteer leaders in any areas may establish a chapter and bring opportunities for professioanl development and local resources to their community. Currently there are chapters in Kansas City, Rolla, St. Charles (Rivers Bend) and St. Louis. There are also YPAC chapters (young professionals/college students) located at MSU (Springfield) and UCM (Warrensburg).
A virtual Leadership Chapter and a Director's Support Group (FaceBook) are open to those in leadership positions and anyone interested in supporting early childhood leaders in their daily responsibilities.
