The Ozarks Chapter encompasses 31 counties in Southwest Missouri.  The organization's mission is to foster excellence in early childhood education through professionalism and advocacy on behalf of Missouri's young children, families, and educators.

It is their vision that every Missourian will recognize and value the crucial role of early educators in the healthy development and education of young children.  The Ozarks Chapter is also committed to supporting its local community and student groups to meet their unique needs.

OZARKS Professional Development Scholarship

The intent of the Ozarks Chapter Professional Development Scholarship (professional development fund– utilizing opportunities to continue education) is to support members’ attendance at conference to further develop their leadership skills. OAEYC will award annual scholarship(s) as funds allow. Priority will be give to AEYC conferences (NAEYC Conferences, Professional Leadership Institute, or state AEYC conferences).
